PREVIEW
Today’s clash between old foes Arsenal and Manchester United at the Emirates is all about one man – Robin van Persie. The Dutchman returns to his old club a Premier League champion – something he failed to achieve in eight seasons with the Gunners – and as the league’s top scorer with 24 strikes.

Remarkably, van Persie has hit 17 goals in his last 17 appearances at the Emirates and has also hit three in his last three in this fixture – two for Arsenal and one for United. He took just three minutes in November to show his former teammates what they were missing in a very comfortable 2-1 victory.

Arsenal are on the joint longest unbeaten run in the league along with Southampton but have beaten United just once in the last eight league meetings between the pair. Arsene Wenger and the fans are desperate to get a Champions League place and badly need a victory if they are to keep the pressure on the likes of Tottenham and Chelsea.

It remains to be seen what sort of team Sir Alex Ferguson will play with the league wrapped up, but the Scot has already stressed how keen he is to break the Premier League points record of 95 set by Chelsea in 2005.

They can only do that by winning all their remaining games which means van Persie is likely to start and he looks a great bet to score anytime at around 2.25 on BETDAQ. He’s also worth backing to score first.

RECOMMENDATION: (1-10 points)
Back Robin van Persie to score first at around 5.5 on BETDAQ: 1 point
Back Robin van Persie to score anytime at around 2.26 on BETDAQ: 4 points
