PREVIEW

Aston Villa have already claimed two notable scalps this season, beating Arsenal 3-1 and Manchester City 3-2 and will be well up for this against a Spurs side who have started to wobble after a cracking start.

A win for Spurs today takes them into a share of fourth but it might not be that easy and 2.1 on BETDAQ looks on the short side.

The wheels came off when we last saw Spurs, two weeks ago when they were inexplicably beaten 3-0 by West Ham at home.

They did however beat Villa 4-0 when they last met in September in the Carling Cup – in fact the last time the two sides have met it’s been 4-0 to Spurs both times.

Spurs are actually unbeaten in their last nine league matches against Villa (W6, D3) since a 2-1 home defeat in September 2008.

It’s a tough one to call – but we fancy the extremeties on the correct score market and a play on the draw as well. A scattergun approach we admit, but hopefully one that will yield a profit.
