It’s the bet which reduces a race to just two runners and you are simply betting on one horse to finish in front of the other.

Today’s challenge we’ll look at is the 8.50 at Sandown and it’s Secret Art v Dream Walker.
The key factor tonight is the ground. It’s soft and heavy in places at the Esher venue. That factor edges me towards Dream Walker who relishes soft ground – winning on that surface at Newcastle and Ayr last year.
Secret Art won on the all-weather last time out and has never experienced ground as testing as this – although, in fairness, did win on good to soft ground.
On balance though, preference has to be for Dream Walker who comes into this on the back of a good third at Newbury.
