A nice profit of 29 points yesterday thanks to the draw between WBA and Everton – and thankfully the last-second offside verdict came to our rescue as that would have been cruel.
That’s edged us back into the profit zone in January. Hopefully it’s north all the way to the end of the month.
West Ham play Man City in the second leg of their Carling Cup semi-final tonight – if this was the Ryder Cup the hole would surely be conceded or in tennis it would be a dead rubber game? Surely?
This could be a dangerous match to bet in, so we are keeping stakes low. Basically if both managers believe it’s a dead rubber – then we could easily see the unexpected.
We can’t see Man City going on the rampage again – and for West Ham it’s about pride – particularly after their 3-1 loss to Newcastle at home on Saturday. Allardyce is now under massive pressure particularly as the likes of Sunderland and Crystal Palace are getting points on the board and West Ham are now 2.77 on BETDAQ to be relegated.
Both managers are focussed on the Premier League (for different reasons) so we’ll have another pop at the draw tonight which served us so well last night.
