A small profit yesterday thanks to Chelsea’s win.
According to the odds Man U’s task tonight is around twice as hard as what Chelsea pulled off last night – however they don’t need to go on a goals race.
The match is poised at 1-1 which gives Bayern a big edge (with away goals rule) but also means that Man U just need to find a single goal.
They coped much better against Bayern at Old Trafford than many had predicted and Bayern’s long standing domestic unbeaten run came to an end at the weekend when they lost at Augsburg.
Defender Jerome Boateng told Bayern’s website: “We shouldn’t aim for a goalless draw, and we don’t want to either”.
However, the reality is a 0-0 will suit the defending champions just fine and we’ll play that option – and the opposite extreme just in case things go really crazy.
