SIX FOLD 12.13 ACCA SAVES JANUARY FOR MULTIMAN: 6 OUT OF 6 FOR MULTIMAN as his BETDAQ MULTIPLES ACCA is landed on Sunday.
181 points profit yesterday when the SIX FOLD ACCA, which started on Saturday, was completed in style on Sunday with easy wins for Everton and Chelsea:
TOTTENHAM WON
ARSENAL WON
READING WON
MAN CITY WON
CHELSEA WON
EVERTON WON
Audaciously or foolishly – MULTIMAN decided not to take any insurance after deliberating in yesterday’s column. He actually helped himself to some MORE by also backing Sunday’s remaining double:
CHELSEA WON
EVERTON WON
It gave MULTIMAN a profit 181.89 points on the day and a small, but significant PROFIT on the month of, wait for it, 0.99 points !!!
The most relief though was to wipe out January losses which threatened to be his worse month ever.
MULTIMAN said: “I now know how a football team feels when getting a vital winner in the 95th minute or a darts player checks out on 170. There’s leaving it late but January was ridiculous.”
“I can only hope that February proves less of traumatic experience than January. I certainly can’t promise to pull a 12/1 winner out of the bag again and am hoping I won’t need to.”
“I backed the recommended six-timer but found it impossible to watch in the end. I won’t mind admitting it – it got to me.”
“I took an ‘escape route’ and went shopping, had a coffee – basically the things that normal people do a Sunday – with just an occasional glance at the scores.”
“I was in a great position after Saturday and to a large extent the hard work was already done but I didn’t want to take anything for granted.”
“MULTIPLE betting is hard by it’s nature – the strike-rate will always be lower than ‘win only’ selections but the rewards on BETDAQ MULTIPLES can be very rewarding.”
“The decision not to trade out yesterday wasn’t taken lightly. As regular readers will know, I’ve pushed the insurance buttons on many occasions and it’s been worthwhile. But something told me different yesterday. Whether it was the fact I still had two matches to come at the time of writing or not I don’t know. But it could also have been the fact that it had been such a poor month that I would leave it to fate. Tampering with a 15 point bet wasn’t going to matter too much against the backdrop of such a poor run. Cash out / insurance is a great tool for the punter but sometimes you just have the mindset of raw belief in your selections – otherwise why have the bet in the first place?”
“The top up double reflected my confidence”.
“Of course, it looks the right decision now, but that’s the hindsight kicking in. Whether it was, whether you would have done (or did) the same is another matter. There are so many factors with punting it’s hard to be too constraint by ‘rules’ which can be dangerous in their own way. We can all choose different BETDAQ options in the same scenario.”
It was a day to celebrate, one of my best ever, but also a time to stay focussed. I can’t say there won’t be more highs and lows ahead but I’m hoping there might just be a few more highs in the 29 days of February. I might just start to leap ahead now in 2016.
A 6 point double to start the new month:
DEPORTIVO LA CORUNA
SPEZIA
The double is paying around 3.19 on BETDAQ MULTIPLES.
MULTIMAN’S BET OF THE DAY:
6 point win double
MULTIMAN’S CURRENT STRIKE-RATE:
Sunday: +181.89 points
January: +0.99 points
