I’m playing safe with the football in selecting both Brazil and Belgium – but as a double tha pair are still odds-on.
However, throw in Kingman in the St James’s Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot and it suddenly becomes a lot more tempting 3.58 as a treble.|
I certainly don’t consider Kingman a ‘certainty’ by any means but I do think he’s the best horse in a race that might not be as simple as the ‘match’ it is being billed as.
It’s the third time Kingman does battle with his Newmarket Guineas conqueror Night Of Thunder and it’s currently 1-1.
Kingman made no mistakes in the Irish Guineas and can gain his revenge here. However, they are both top horses. The 2,000 Guineas form is as solid as a rock and we should be in for an opening day treat.
