PADDOCK PICK LOOKS TO GO ONE BETTER: Racing Preview have identified a horse to keep the right side of in the 7.15 at Windsor this evening.
Summary:
Racing Preview Paddock Pick Fantalope steps onto turf for the first time (7.15 Windsor) this evening. Having run two very encouraging races on the artificial surfaces of Kempton and Chelmsford, the daughter of Lope De Vega contests a competitive fillies novice event here. Her first run was a quiet introduction at Kempton where she finished sixth to Laos (eighth placed horse won at Goodwood on Saturday). She then stepped up on that at Chelmsford some four months later where she was a clear second best to the Godolphin horse Night Hunter, doing all of her best work at the finish.
Fantalope is also well bred being a half-sister to the useful Berlin Tango who beat the now 121 rated Pyledriver before he was sold to race in Hong Kong and if she has a modicum of his ability then she could be decent. She looks to have the favourite Future to beat this evening but her stable could hardly be in better form and if she takes to the turf then she should go well.
