PREMIER LEAGUE: We preview Wednesday’s London derby between ARSENAL v CHELSEA with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

7.45pm After a really busy period over New Year, we only have one game to enjoy on Wednesday night, however what a game it is! London Derbies are always huge affairs, and tonight should prove no different. We have quite an open market, with the match odds at the time of writing; Arsenal 2.96, Chelsea 2.62 and the draw is 3.55.
Arsenal have a superb record at home, however when Manchester United and Liverpool visited recently they both left with points, so perhaps the 2.96 on the home win isn’t a lump on job. Chelsea have also managed a draw with Liverpool in Anfield and beat Spurs 2-1 at Wembley this season, so their away form against the top sides is rock solid on paper – along with some great results in the Champions League.
Arsenal have been involved in plenty of high scoring thrillers, most recently beating Crystal Palace 3-2 and draw 3-3 with Liverpool here. However apart from those two games, under 2.5 goals would have collected in four of their last six games. Chelsea banged in five goals against Stoke as a warm up for this fixture on Saturday, however three of their last five would have seen under 2.5 collect also. So while many may be expecting goals here, unders looks a shade of value at 2.24.
We feel the value tonight is with the draw at 3.55 though. We expect a very close affair, Arsenal are hard to beat at home – while Chelsea are rightly favourites and have rock solid away form – we feel everything is set up for a draw here and the 3.55 looks too big.
