PREMIER LEAGUE FRIDAY: We preview Friday’s Premier League game between NORWICH v LEICESTER with a recommended BETDAQ bet and extended match stats.
NORWICH V LEICESTER
8pm There’s a lot going on this weekend! We have the League Cup Final, Premier League and an El Clasico. We kick off the weekend action on Friday night with Norwich hosting Leicester. Norwich lost 3-0 last weekend to Wolves, however nobody went away from them with losses for the other sides at the bottom. They remain six points adrift from 19th and seven from safety. Simple fact is, they need to start winning and fast.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Norwich 4.7, Leicester 1.78 and the draw is 4.3. Leicester lost last weekend too, losing 1-0 at home to Manchester City. That match has settled who will finish second this season, and although Leicester have come up short against Liverpool and Manchester City – they are still having an excellent season.
Norwich managed to shock Manchester City here early in the season, but we don’t expect any shocks tonight. The Leicester win looks massive at 1.78 – Norwich have been very poor lately and although Leicester’s confidence hasn’t been the same since losing to Liverpool and Manchester City close to Christmas, they are still easily good enough to beat this Norwich side.
Norwich have improved at home in recent games, but prior to the last three they had conceded two or more in the nine previous. Leicester need a confidence boost and Norwich are just the side to hand it to them. As we have seen with the likes of Manchester United this season; they can struggle but against the teams towards the bottom they can score goals. We expect a smooth Leicester win and the 1.78 is a great bet to kick start the weekend.
