8pm Bournemouth welcome Crystal Palace to town on Monday night. After getting hammered 4-0 against Burnley last weekend, Bournemouth won’t enjoy seeing their recent record against Crystal Palace – they have managed just one win in their last six Premier League games. Palace also have a good record when playing here having lost just once from their last five visits.
It’s hard to see anything but a very close game but we feel that the match odds don’t reflect that. The odds at the time of writing currently trade; Bournemouth 2.28, Crystal Palace 3.4 and the draw is 3.55. Palace have been playing some good football away from home this season, getting six points from their three games – the loss coming away to Liverpool.
As we said, it’s hard to see anything but a close game here and Bournemouth look very short at 2.28. We expect a much closer game than those odds suggest and we’re happy to lay the home side. Palace have been very solid away this season and we expect them to give Bournemouth a very tough game – the 2.28 looks a great value lay.
