PREMIER LEAGUE MONDAY: We preview Monday’s match in the Premier League between BURNLEY v NEWCASTLE with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

8pm We had a really enjoyable weekend of action in the Premier League, and we finish off the fixtures with Burnley hosting Newcastle on Monday Night Football. This should be a very close affair, and the markets agree! The match odds at the time of writing currently stand at; Burnley 3.0, Newcastle 2.72 and the draw is 3.25.
We expect this game to be really tight with few chances in front of goal. Both sides have struggled for goals thus far this campaign, however they haven’t conceded many either. Burnley’s four games at home have only had a total of four goals – while looking at Newcastle’s away form shows a similar lack of goals, only one from their four have seen over 2.5 goals.
Obviously looking at those stats, under 2.5 goals makes a lot of appeal at around the 1.68 mark, indeed so does under 1.5 goals at 3.0, and if you’re feeling very brave then 0-0 is trading 9.0. The 0-0 option might be a really good trade, as it’s hard to see either team going for it early on, we could see a very cagey start.
Newcastle are favourites, however are those odds correct? They’ve only lost once in their last seven, however they have been playing poor quality opposition. Burnley only suffered their second defeat of the season last weekend against Manchester City, and obviously we are happy to write that off with City in superb form at the moment, so we feel that Burnley should be closer in price to Newcastle.
Laying Newcastle at 2.72 and under 2.5 goals at 1.68 are tempting bets, however we see this being a very close affair without many chances, and the draw really appeals at 3.25.
