PREMIER LEAGUE: We preview Monday’s Premier League game between BRIGHTON v STOKE with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

8pm We have an interesting clash for Monday Night Football tonight as Stoke travel to take on Brighton. We have a pretty open market, with the home side favourites. The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Brighton 2.4, Stoke 3.6 and the draw is 3.2.
Since Manchester City beat Brighton on the opening weekend of the season, they have gone unbeaten here – it’s only been four games however it is a sign that they are handling the Premier League well. They sit in the top half of the table in 9th, three points ahead of Stoke who sit in 15th after the weekend games.
Nevertheless, Brighton are probably a shade short at 2.4 in what should be a pretty close affair. Stoke have been playing some very solid football this season, apart from losing heavily to Manchester City and Chelsea but you can forgive any side that. Looking at the goal stats for both sides, it seems best to stay away from the match odds market though and back over 2.5 goals at 2.6 which looks simply too big.
If you were to go back to the start of last season, since then Stoke have only kept five clean sheets away from home – they’re only recent clean sheet came against Watford when they won 1-0, otherwise over 2.5 goals has collected in five of their last six. Brighton have goals in them too, although their games haven’t produced the same amount of goals that Stoke have seen. In their last eight games, the only side to stop them scoring was Arsenal – so we expect goals here.
Stoke have impressed going forward and we feel that they can score tonight, add this with their clean sheet record away from home and Brighton’s goal scoring record – we feel that over 2.5 goals at 2.6 looks the best value here by quite a distance.
