PREMIER LEAGUE: We preview Saturday’s Premier League games with a recommended BETDAQ bet starting off with LEICESTER v STOKE at 12.30pm.

LEICESTER V STOKE

12.30pm We have a busy day of Premier League action ahead, and we start with Leicester taking on Stoke in the early kick off. After having a poor start to the season, Leicester have bounced back strongly and will now have their eye on a Europa League spot and European football next season. In order to do that, they simply have to be winning games like this – Stoke currently sit in 19th position in the table, and have a woeful record away from home this season when meeting sides in the top ten. Leicester only drawing with Swansea here at the start of the month is a worry, however Swansea have vastly improved in recent weeks, and we can forgive them for losing to City too – Leicester simply look too big here at 1.78 to beat a poor Stoke side.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Leicester to beat Stoke at 1.78.

BOURNEMOUTH V NEWCASTLE

3pm Newcastle produced a massive upset in their last Premier League game when beating Manchester United! With things tight towards the bottom, those three points were massive and they will fancy their chances of gaining more points here after Bournemouth lost 4-1 to Huddersfield. Both sides should be well rested after they had no FA Cup action last weekend and we expect this to be a very tight affair. Looking at the odds, Bournemouth look too short at 2.2 – we expect the game to be closer than those odds suggest, and we’re happy to lay Bournemouth.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Bournemouth at 2.2.

BRIGHTON V SWANSEA

3pm This is a massive game towards the bottom of the table. Things are extremely tight, and three points for either side here would be a huge boost while it would put the loser under pressure. Swansea have been excellent lately, and are certainly the in-form team coming into this tie. They played out a boring 0-0 in the FA Cup at the weekend, but they have dragged themselves up the table lately while Brighton have been getting some solid results too. The prices here are very similar to Bournemouth v Newcastle, and again we expect a very close affair here. With Swansea in good form, Brighton look too short at 2.22 – we expect a closer game than that and we’re happy to lay Brighton from a value point of view.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Brighton at 2.22.

BURNLEY V SOUTHAMPTON

3pm Burnley have been in 7th position in the Premier League table for a while, but their results have been poor. A 1-0 loss against Swansea last time out meant that they’ve now gone ten games without a win in the league – they will be hoping that a weekend off last weekend will turn momentum and they can get three points here. They have a big chance too, against a struggling Southampton side. Not many would have seen them in the bottom three this season, but they have really missed Charlie Austin and are having problems at the back too – they need some points here. Burnley may have gone ten games without a win, however with the way that Southampton have played this season, we can’t have them favourites away from home here. They have been consistently over-bet this season, you’d be up quite a bit laying them, and we’re happy to lay them again here at 2.82.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Southampton at 2.82.

LIVERPOOL V WEST HAM

3pm Liverpool are the shortest price of any team this weekend, as they are currently trading just 1.25 to beat the Hammers! That definitely looks short, as they have only won five of their last 11 at home. It’s fair to say that David Moyes will bring West Ham here to park the bus and attempt to get out with a point. In fairness, it seems to be those tactic which Liverpool struggle the most with, as their recent away record is much stronger when teams attack them. West Ham have only lost two of their last 12 games, and we definitely think that they can do a good job of stopping Liverpool here. Liverpool will more than likely get the job done, however West Ham can keep it close and with them trading 1.95 +2 goals in the Asian Handicap (stakes void if Liverpool win by two), we’re very happy to take those odds.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
West Ham +2 goals Asian Handicap to beat Liverpool at 1.95.

WEST BROM V HUDDERSFIELD

3pm This is a massive game for West Brom. They currently sit five points away from their nearest rival at the bottom of the table, and playing Huddersfield at home they will fancy their chances. If they’re going to stay up, they simply have to win these type of games. The thing is though, from a betting point of view – how could you back them at 1.99? That simply looks too short. Huddersfield shocked Bournemouth last time out with a 4-1 win, their first win in nine league games – however West Brom have been in very poor form too. We expect this to be a very tight and cagey affair, with both sides struggling. We can’t get away from the West Brom lay at the odds – it looks like the value lay of the weekend.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay West Brom at 2.0.

WATFORD V EVERTON

5.30pm This is an interesting market to finish the days action. Watford have shown very little apart from the shock 4-1 romp against Chelsea, and you’d have to wonder are they a little short here at 2.34. While Everton are trading 3.5, and the draw is 3.45 at the time of writing. Everton arrive here off the back of two heavy defeats away from home, losing 4-0 to Spurs and 5-1 to Arsenal – however those two sides are in a different league compared to Watford, and Everton have been solid apart from those two games. Watford are struggling with injuries, and they have been losing to the sides around the bottom of the table lately. Similar to a lot of games today, purely from a value point of view we have to lay Watford at 2.34. We expect a close game here, and Everton could possibly nick it.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Watford at 2.34.
