PREMIER LEAGUE: We preview Saturday’s Premier League games with a recommended BETDAQ bet. The action kicks off at 12.30pm with LIVERPOOL v STOKE.

LIVERPOOL V STOKE

12.30pm Liverpool will be on cloud nine coming into this fixture after their wonderful display in the Champions League on Tuesday night. They let the lead slip at the end, but it was still a great night at the office for them, and with the second leg next week we can expect to see some changes here. That will be music to Stoke’s ears as they battle to stay in the Premier League. Liverpool have an excellent record at home this season; so while we will see Klopp rest a few of his star players here, it’s still very hard to see a Stoke win with the way that they have been playing this season. We can see this fixture being a little quiet considering the situation in the Champions League, and with under 2.5 goals as big as 2.74 we’re happy to take a chance on that.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 2.74.

BURNLEY V BRIGHTON

3pm You would think at this stage of the season that 13th position would be safe from going down, however Brighton are only seven points off the bottom three. The problem for them lately as been their away form – they’ve only got three points from their last ten away games. Burnley are finishing the season strongly, although they could only draw with Stoke last week away from home. Having home advantage here is massive against this Brighton side struggling away, and Burnley look great value at 2.28.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Burnley to beat Brighton at 2.28.

CRYSTAL PALACE V LEICESTER

3pm Crystal Palace continue to fight to stay in the Premier League, and they have a great chance to collect all three points here. You could say that Leicester are ‘on the beach’ already looking at the way in which they are finishing the season. They couldn’t beat the struggling Southampton at home last weekend, and have lost to Burnley and Newcastle prior to that. It’s been Palace’s home form that has really kept them up this season after a terrible start, and we expect that trend to continue – they have an excellent record here against sides outside the top six and looking at Leicester recent games, Palace look too big at 2.14.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Crystal Palace to beat Leicester at 2.14.

HUDDERSFIELD V EVERTON

3pm This is a huge game for Huddersfield. The sides around them at the bottom of the table have tough games this weekend – Swansea play Chelsea, Stoke play Liverpool and West Ham play Manchester City. A win here would be fantastic for the club, and they have a good chance too against this Everton side. We have an open market, with the match odds at the time of writing; Huddersfield 2.72, Everton 3.1 and the draw is 3.15. Huddersfield have had under 2.5 goals in their last six games coming into this tie, while Everton have had under 2.5 goals in their last three. We can see this being a very tight affair, with Huddersfield possibly a bit nervous at the start – we can’t see an open game here and with under 2.5 goals trading 1.58 we’re happy to back that.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 1.58.

NEWCASTLE V WEST BROM

3pm This is an interesting game. West Brom arrive to Newcastle off the back of four points in two games against Liverpool and Manchester United. Two very surprising results considering how they’ve played this season and where they are in the table – perhaps the pressure is off now they are going down and they are playing with some freedom. Liverpool fielded a weakened side for the last game though, and obviously winning at Old Trafford was a huge shock – so we’ll wait and see what they do here before considering backing them. They have been very poor this season, obviously when they sitting bottom of the table! Newcastle are in very good form at the moment and are finishing the season strongly – they look too big here at 1.86 to beat the side sitting bottom of the table.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Newcastle to beat West Brom at 1.86.

SOUTHAMPTON V BOURNEMOUTH

3pm What a huge game for Southampton – this is simply a must win game. Their FA Cup dreams ended last weekend against Chelsea, and now they face the reality of fighting to stay in the Premier League. They have a good chance of collecting all three points here as Bournemouth have been struggling lately – they’ve only two points from their last four games coming into this and have conceded nine goals. They did have to play Manchester United and Liverpool in that run through, so we can’t judge them too harshly. The thing is, Southampton have been consistently under priced all season and they look too short again here at 1.75 – they are bottom three for a reason; they’ve played poorly all season – and we have to lay them again at the odds.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Southampton at 1.75.

SWANSEA V CHELSEA

5.30pm Swansea won’t be welcoming the sight of Chelsea when they are fighting to stay up. What could be in Swansea’s favour though is Chelsea are now in the FA Cup final after last weekend, and while that’s a few weeks away – with nothing to play for in the Premier League it could be their main focus already. Swansea will be hoping for a lazy display from Chelsea here however they are without a win in their last six. They have had a tough run of fixtures though, but it doesn’t get any easier against Chelsea. We like under 2.5 goals at 1.89 to end the days action – Swansea will try to keep things very tight here and Chelsea could take a while to break through. Ultimately we expect Chelsea to win but we expect a close game.

BETDAQ BEST BET:
Under 2.5 goals at 1.89.
