PREMIER LEAGUE SATURDAY: We preview Saturday’s five games in the Premier League with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
SOUTHAMPTON V HULL
3pm We kick off this weekends Premier League action with Southampton v Hull. Hull got a much needed win last weekend at home to Watford, however they’ll do well to win at St Mary’s where Southampton have a great record against sides in the bottom half of the table. The Saints have only lost once in their last 12 at home against sides in the bottom ten, and coupled with Hulls’ poor away record this season – Southampton look good value at 1.69. Hull have conceded at least three goals in each of their last three away games, they lost 3-1 in their last away game to Stoke, and Southampton are playing better football at the moment than Stoke. We’re going to keep this one simply to start the day and go with the home win at 1.69 which just looks too big to ignore.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Southampton to beat Hull at 1.69.

STOKE V WEST HAM
3pm You’d have to say that there isn’t much between these sides on paper this season, however West Ham are probably performing below their expected level given their great season last year. There’s only one point between them in the table at the moment, however looking at the head-to-head between the sides – Stoke are clear favourites today! People always say that Stoke is a hard place to go and win, well that’s true for West Ham anyway. They haven’t won here since 2013 in all competitions, losing four and drawing two in the six games since. They also bring terrible away form into this clash – they’re without a win in their last five, drawing two and losing three – while they haven’t managed to keep a clean sheet in 13 away games either. Stoke are solid at home, and coupled with West Ham’s poor away record – the 2.22 on the home win looks ten ticks too big.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Stoke to beat West Ham at 2.22.

SUNDERLAND V BOURNEMOUTH
3pm Not many will have a high interest in this one but it’s an interesting clash from a betting point of view. At the moment, you just couldn’t support Sunderland in the markets – they have been woeful, and gave Middlesbrough their first win in 16 games on Wednesday night. However, look at Bournemouth’s away form – they’ve only recorded two away wins in the last 12 months, and haven’t had an away win yet in 2017. So what do you put more importance on here, Sunderland’s terrible standard at the moment or the fact that Bournemouth can’t seem to win away from home. The market has Sunderland 3.1, Bournemouth 2.42 and the draw 3.65 at the time of writing and we have to say that the draw looks good value at 3.65 – we can just see these two sides cancelling each other out. Bournemouth draw-no-bet will appeal to many too, it’s hard to make a case for Sunderland at the moment.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Draw at 3.65.

WEST BROM V LEICESTER
3pm Leicester played reasonably well on Wednesday night against Arsenal, however lost 1-0 to a late own goal. Arsenal didn’t perform too well though all things considered, and Leicester’s away record this season leaves a lot to be desired. However, they’ve won three of their last four trips here – so this should be a good game. West Brom are rightly favourites and look a bit too big at 2.64, they’re having a good year this season as they sit up in 8th – and bar losing heavily against the top sides, they have been performing very well. They’ve lost their last two home games, but they were hard fought 1-0 losses against Liverpool and Southampton. With Leicester’s away record this season, West Brom look good value at 2.64 – Leicester have conceded at least once in their last five and we can see this being a low scorer with West Brom having the better chances.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
West Brom to beat Leicester at 2.64.

CRYSTAL PALACE V BURNLEY
5.30pm Crystal Palace are one of the form teams in the Premier League at the moment, but they still couldn’t stop Spurs on Wednesday. However, Spurs are probably the only team in better form than Palace at the moment – and losing 1-0 to a late goal is no shame. Looking at Burnley’s away record, this should be a routine home win and the 1.85 on Palace looks massive. Burnley are yet to win away from home this season, only managing four draws in 17 games. They don’t like visiting Palace either, as they are without a win in their last ten here in all competitions – failing to score in seven of those. Palace are playing good football at the moment, wins against Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal are very impressive and when you look at Burnley’s away record too, you can’t help but feel Palace at 1.84 in today’s banker.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Crystal Palace to beat Burnley at 1.84.
