PULSATING PREMIER LEAGUE SATURDAY: It really is a Super Saturday in the Premier League which gets off to a flying start at 12.30pm with Man U hosting defending champions Leicester at Old Trafford. Plenty of interest in the 3pm games too with the action completed by the London derby between Arsenal and Chelsea at 5.30pm.
Man U v Leicester
12.30pm Manchester United got back to winning ways midweek against Northampton, but Jose Mourinho is still searching for his best XI, and much of the discussion has centered around Rooney, whilst also trying to find a way to get the best out of Pogba. Against Watford when Mourinho played them either side of Fellaini that didn’t work either, so will he drop Rooney – can he drop Rooney? We’ll find out Saturday morning.
United are unbeaten in their last seven at home in the league against Leicester, but we feel they are a bit short at 1.72 in the match odds market – it was interesting midweek to see the distance covered stats for all the Premier League teams in their games thus far, United currently sit bottom of that list with 526.6km covered, and it’s not hard to see why Watford can stop them finding nay momentum going forward with those stats.
We feel the best value is in the goals markets here, Leicester have had over 2.5 goals in all of their last five games while United have found the net in five of their last six in all competitions, over 2.5 goals is currently trading 1.96 but we marginally prefer Both Teams To Score at 1.9.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Both Teams To Score at 1.9.

Bournemouth v Everton
3pm Bournemouth have put in some solid performances in the league thus far this season but it’s still very hard to get away from backing Everton at around the 2.2 mark. Lukaku has bounced back to goal scoring form in recent weeks and despite the blip midweek where they lost 2-0 to Norwich in the Cup, they have been playing to very good football, particularly against Sunderland Middlesbrough. Everton draw-no-bet is currently 1.57 for the less brave but at 2.2 we can’t get away from backing Everton here.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Everton to beat Bournemouth at 2.2.

Liverpool v Hull
3pm Jurgen Klopp said midweek that his side must treat Hull as if they were playing Dortmund – we wonder will Hull play anywhere like Dortmund! The market doesn’t believe so with Liverpool as short as 1.25 as we type, and that looks to be a bit short in light of Hull’s recent games – apart from the Arsenal defeat they have been pretty solid and while we expect Liverpool to win, we think Hull can get on the scoresheet here as Liverpool haven’t been great at the back thus far this season. Over 2.5 goals is 1.6 while Both Teams To Score is 2.3 and we feel that offers more value.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Both Teams To Score at 2.3.

Middlesbrough v Tottenham
3pm Much like the Bournemouth v Everton game above, it’s very hard to get away from this Spurs price at 2.16. After a relatively slow start to the season, albeit getting results, Spurs found their goal scoring touch hammering Stoke 4-0 before wins against Sunderland and scoring five midweek against Gillingham in the Cup. Middlesbrough meanwhile have suffered a dip after a decent start, Everton scored three against them and before that they lost 2-1 at home to Palace, who previously to that game had a terrible record in 2016 – we feel that Spurs can score a few here but at 2.16 we’re very happy to make that our best bet here.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Tottenham to beat Middlesbrough at 2.16.

Stoke v West Brom
3pm Not the most glamorous game of the weekend it has to be said and Stoke are in desperate need of a win after losing five of their last six games in all competitions, and more worryingly it has been the way that they’ve lost them for Mark Hughes, they shipped four goals to City, Spurs and even Palace on that run – the only clean sheet they’ve kept has been against Stevenage in the Cup and currently sit bottom of the league. West Brom, unexpectedly for them, found the net four times against West Ham last weekend and have been in reasonably form this season, you know what you’ll get with them at this stage – fairly defensive games. But the way Stoke have been at the back we feel that they can certainly find the net here, they’re currently 3.45 to win but Stoke at 2.38 with the form that they are in simply has to be a lay
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Stoke at 2.38.

Sunderland v Crystal Palace
3pm Similar to Stoke, Sunderland are in need of a win as they currently sit 19th in the table with just one point from five games. The manner in which they lost 3-0 to Everton was worrying however they were solid enough at the back against Spurs and Southampton either side of that. Palace have found form winning their last two in the league, and at 2.76 they appeal as value here to get another win against this Sunderland team who need to improve to be competitive.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Crystal Palace to beat Sunderland at 2.76.

Swansea v Manchester City
3pm These two met in the cup midweek where City won 2-1, but the strength of City is going to be a different level with some of their stars coming back who were rested midweek. They have been breaking with scary pace this season under Guardiola and it’s hard to see how Swansea can stop them. They’re currently priced at 1.4 to win in 90 minutes but we think that they can find the net a few times here and we prefer the 2.2 on the handicap 1.5 goals.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Manchester City -1.5 goals to beat Swansea at 2.2.

Arsenal v Chelsea
5.30pm What a brilliant way to finish a Saturday, the London Derby. Chelsea will be looking forward to this one more than Arsenal if the stats are anything to go by, Arsenal are without a win in the last nine league meetings between the sides while Chelsea haven’t lost on any of their last five league visits to the Emirates.
Based on that you can argue Chelsea look big at around the 3.15 mark and Arsenal are a shade short at their current 2.46 but Chelsea are still trying to settle under Conte and have been leaking goals – they’ve conceded in five of their last six, and conceded twice in all of their last three in all competitions – so Arsenal should be able to find the net here at some stage. They haven’t been great at the back themselves though, conceding in four of their last six – we feel Both Teams To Score here is the value at 1.68 and that will be our best bet.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Both Teams To Score at 1.68.
