PREMIER LEAGUE: We preview Sunday’s Premier League game between CARDIFF v BURNLEY with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

4pm We only have the one Premier League game to enjoy today as Cardiff take on Burnley. It’s obviously still very early in the season, however this is already a big game for both sides looking at their position in the table already. Before any fixtures kick off this weekend; Cardiff are sitting 19th position with Burnley in 16th.
We have an open market, with the match odds at the time of writing currently trading; Cardiff 2.68, Burnley 3.15 and the draw is 3.15. Burnley finally got off the mark in the Premier League this season with an impressive 4-0 win over Bournemouth last weekend. Perhaps they took their eye off the Premier League in their early games as they were trying to qualify for the Europa League.
Cardiff look too short here at 2.68 – they have had six games in the Premier League and only managed two draws and it’s difficult to back them at these odds against a solid side like Burnley. They have shown signs at times that they can caused problems – notably the 3-2 loss here against Arsenal however we have to see them playing better football before having them at odds like these.
Burnley are a very tough side to beat and now with their European games out of the way they will have more focus on the Premier League – we feel Cardiff are the best lay of the weekend at 2.68.
