PREMIER LEAGUE SUNDAY: We preview Sunday’s Premier League games between LEICESTER v MAN U and MAN CITY v ARSENAL with extended stats and BETDAQ recommended bets.
LEICESTER V MANCHESTER UNITED
2.05pm What a brilliant Super Sunday of action ahead and we start with Leicester hosting Manchester United. Leicester managed to come away from Anfield with a point on Wednesday night much to the disappointment of Liverpool who missed a golden opportunity to go seven points clear at the top of the Premier League. Manchester United got a point midweek too; however they would have been less happy being at home to Burnley. From an attitude point of view it was probably a positive – they were 2-0 down and kept battling right to the last kick of the game for a draw; just like United in the old days.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Leicester 4.0, Manchester United 2.1 and the draw is 3.55. Leicester have only managed one win in their 12 home Premier League games against Manchester United and over all have a terrible record against United too – losing 16 of the last 20 meetings. Leicester did well to get a point against Liverpool however they have been in-and-out of form all season and with United playing some very impressive football under Solskjaer the 2.1 on the away win looks big here. Indeed they are aiming for their fifth away win in the Premier League in a row – something which hasn’t happened since 2012 under Ferguson. We like the 2.1 from a value point of view and were happy to back United.
BETDAQ BEST BET:

MANCHESTER CITY V ARSENAL
4.30pm This isn’t the big fixture that it has been in the past; however it is undoubtedly the highlight of the weekend nonetheless. It adds extra spice that Manchester City suffered a shock loss away to Newcastle during the week and have fallen further behind Liverpool in the title race – although Klopp’s men really missed an opportunity to extend their lead and only drew with Leicester. It’s a sign of the times that City are so short for this one and although Arsenal are having a very good season; the markets can’t see past a City win here.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Manchester City 1.34, Arsenal 10.0 and the draw is 6.4. We saw very similar odds when Manchester United visited earlier in the season and there’s no doubt going to be plenty of backers of Arsenal at 10.0 – City look very short at 1.34 in a big game. It’s hard to get away from the City lay from a value point of view however Arsenal have a very poor record here; they’ve lost seven of their last 11 visits here in all competitions. This Arsenal side looks to have more backbone than in past seasons though and much like their away record; we can perhaps ignore it given the change in manager this season. City are in poor form too and are having a little bit of a wobble – they’ve lost four of their last nine Premier League games – as many as their previous 72 games! We’re happy to take a chance and lay City at 1.34 which looks very, very short against quality opposition.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Manchester City at 1.34.
