CRYSTAL PALACE V MANCHESTER CITY
2.05pm It’s a massive day at the top of the table in the Premier League! City suffered an away defeat midweek against Spurs in the Champions League, however if you were to ask them what game they would have picked to lose it would have probably been that one – they can recover in the second leg and they don’t lose any ground in the Premier League. A loss for either City or Liverpool would be a huge blow at the moment, and a fascinating day awaits!
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Crystal Palace 11.5, Manchester City 1.33 and the draw is 5.9. City have been going off shorter prices in recent weeks, so there’s no doubt they will go into a lot of BETDAQ Multiples this weekend. City come into this tie having won their last eight Premier League, while they’ve kept clean sheets in six of their last seven. They have been getting the job done and been in full control in doing so. Palace have a poor record at home and it’s hard to see anything but a City win here, however Palace can keep things close – we like them on the handicap. City haven’t been blowing teams away recently, they’ve only score two against Fulham and Cardiff, and one against Brighton at the weekend. Palace look good value at 2.02 +1.5 goals to keep it close.

- Crystal Palace are looking to complete the top-flight double over Manchester City for the first time since the 1972-73 campaign. Indeed, the last non-big six side to beat the Citizens twice in the same Premier League season were Everton back in 2010-11.
- Manchester City have won five of their last seven Premier League matches against Crystal Palace, though haven’t beaten the Eagles in their last two encounters (D1 L1).

- Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is winless in his last two league meetings with Crystal Palace – he’s only ever had longer winless league runs against Everton (3) and Borussia Mönchengladbach (4) in his entire managerial career.
LIVERPOOL V CHELSEA
4.30pm This is undoubtedly the highlight of the weekend and what a massive fixture for both sides. Liverpool obviously have to keep winning if they are to beat Manchester City to the Premier League title and Chelsea need points too in the race for a Top Four finish. This is the hardest fixture left on Liverpool’s run in and a win here would be huge for them with Manchester City having to go to Old Trafford later on. Liverpool are playing like Champions at the moment with late goals and everything points to a home win again here.

Liverpool are currently unbeaten in 37 Premier League games at Anfield and we don’t expect that to change today. They have been in excellent form recently, Anfield has been rocking and the late goal against Spurs really showed how much belief this side has that they will win the Premier League. Chelsea have been in good form in recent weeks, but we expect Liverpool to outclass and outbattle them today, and the 1.71 looks cracking value on a home win.

- Liverpool haven’t won any of their last six Premier League games at Anfield against Chelsea (D4 L2); the Reds have never endured a longer winless home run against an opponent in the competition.
- Chelsea have only lost twice in their last 16 meetings with Liverpool in all competitions (W6 D8), though both of those defeats came at Stamford Bridge. The Blues’ last defeat at Anfield came back in May 2012 in the Premier League (1-4).
- Chelsea have already won away at Liverpool this season, beating them 2-1 in the EFL Cup. They’ve never won twice at Anfield within the same season, with Arsenal in 2006- 07 the last side to do so against Liverpool.
- Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 37 Premier League games at Anfield – only once in their top-flight history have they had a longer unbeaten home run (63 between Feb 1978- Dec 1980).
- Chelsea have lost their last five Premier League away games against fellow ‘big six’ opponents, including all three season by an aggregate score of 1-11. However, the Blues have won three of their last four away league games against sides starting the day top, including a 2-0 victory at Anfield in April 2014.
- Chelsea have won three Premier League games in a row for the first time since September 2018, when they won their first five matches in the competition under Maurizio Sarri.
- Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge netted the equaliser for his side at Stamford Bridge in the reverse fixture back in September; the only former player to net both home and away against the Blues within the same campaign was Fabio Borini, who did so for Sunderland during the 2015-16 season.
- Only three of the last 32 visiting managers have managed to taste victory in their first Premier League trip to Anfield (W3 D5 L24); Louis van Gaal in March 2015, Slaven Bilic in August 2015 and most recently, Paul Clement in January 2017.
