SUNDAY PREMIER LEAGUE PREVIEW: We preview Sunday’s two Premier League games with recommended BETDAQ bets. It’s EVERTON v MAN CITY and MAN U v LIVERPOOL.
Everton v Manchester City
1.30pm Manchester City arrive into Goodison off the back of a 5-0 thrashing of West Ham in the FA Cup last weekend, while Everton lost to Leicester after going 1-0 up. Everton have had plenty of ups and downs this season, but have been playing reasonably solid in their last six games, with wins against Arsenal and Southampton being the highlights, and they probably should have drawn with Liverpool. So it will be a tough test for City here.
City have steadied the ship after a mini crisis which saw them lose to Chelsea and get somewhat embarrassed by Leicester, and now they have won five of their last six comfortably, with the only blip being a 1-0 loss away to Liverpool. Many people will be keen to take on City here at 1.88 away from home, but we feel that the value here is in the goals market. Both teams have seen plenty of goals in their recent games and we expect this trend to continue, and with over 2.5 trading 1.82, we feel that is big enough to get involved.

Manchester United v Liverpool
4pm Manchester United v Liverpool – some say it’s the biggest game in the world. Others would think of the 0-0 we seen at Anfield this season and change channel! Hopefully this game see’s more action than the game at Anfield, and with United in red hot form coming into this one, there’s no reason to think that Mourinho will go into his shell here – as he has done in some big games in the past, happy with a draw.
United have now won their last nine in all competitions, and are unbeaten in their last 15. While Liverpool come into this huge clash off the back of two disappointing draws and a loss, the first against Sunderland in the league while they couldn’t find the net against Plymouth in the FA Cup at the weekend, and then lost to Southampton midweek in the League Cup.
So maybe today is a good time for United to welcome Liverpool into Old Trafford. The match odds at the time of writing currently stand at United 2.22, Liverpool 3.85 and the draw 3.4, and we feel the value is with United at 2.22. It seems that they have everything in their favour coming into this one, home advantage, recent form, and Liverpool putting in a few disappointing displays against Sunderland and Southampton, so we’re happy to side with United at 2.22. Hopefully it’s a great game!
