PREMIER LEAGUE: We preview Thursday’s Premier League game between ARSENAL v MAN CITY with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

7.45pm We may be going through the ‘Beast From The East’ in the UK at the moment, but Arsenal will be sick of the ‘Blue Beast From Manchester!’ The fixture list can work in funny ways sometimes, and both sides meet very quickly after the League Cup final at the weekend. Arsenal were called spineless in that game by many when going down 3-0, and it will be interesting to see if there is a reaction tonight.
It’s fair to say that this Arsenal team look soft. There will be plenty of jokes about them not dealing with the cold tonight too, and City will be very confident of winning. The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Arsenal 4.8, Manchester City 1.8 and the draw is 4.2.
In City’s last 11 games in the Premier League they have scored three or more goals on eight occasions, add that stat to the 3-0 result at the weekend and many punters will be backing City to cover the handicap. At the time of writing, City are trading 2.34 -1 goal on the Asian Handicap (money back if they win by exactly one goal), however the 1.8 on them to win in the match odds market looks huge value.
City looked vastly superior at the weekend, and although Arsenal will have home advantage this time around compared to Wembley, it will hardly bridge the obvious gap between the sides. Arsenal make too many mistakes at the back, and City have too much talent up front not to take advantage. We feel the 1.8 is at least ten ticks too big, and we’ll look no further for our best bet. Off the back of two winners during the week in the FA Cup, hopefully we complete the hat-trick here!
