PREMIER LEAGUE TUESDAY: We preview Tuesday’s Premier League fixture between WATFORD v FULHAM and the televised WOLVES v MAN U both with a recommended BETDAQ bet and extended match stats.
WATFORD V FULHAM
7.45pm We started the Premier League run-in at the weekend and we have a busy week with midweek fixtures too! We started Tuesday night with Watford hosting Fulham as their chances of staying in the Premier League are all but gone. They have had to play Manchester City and Liverpool in their last two fixtures, so they will welcome playing Watford although it’s hard to see the outcome being any different. Watford were beaten at the weekend by Manchester United however they performed well and you’d have to say that Untied took the lead against the run of play.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Watford 1.72, Fulham 5.4 and the draw is 4.2. Watford look huge at 1.72 – if they play anywhere close to the level they played at the weekend against Manchester United they will win this game with ease. However they won’t need to perform to that high standard – Fulham have been absolutely woeful away from home this season. They’ve only managed two points from a possible 48 away from home – that is one of the reasons they are going back down to the Championship and Watford can extend their poor away record tonight. They look at least ten ticks too big at 1.72.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Watford to beat Fulham at 1.72.

MATCH STATS
- All three previous Premier League meetings between Watford and Fulham have finished level, with the only previous match at Vicarage Road ending 3-3 in October 2006.
- Fulham have won just one of their last five away league games against Watford (D1 L3), winning 3-1 in a second tier match in January 2001.

- Fulham have picked up just two points from their 48 available away from home in the Premier League this season (W0 D2 L14) and are the only side in the top four tiers of English football yet to win on the road in 2018-19.
- Watford have won their last two home Premier League games, as many as they had in their previous nine at Vicarage Road (W2 D2 L5).
- Among teams to have played at least 100 away games in the competition, Fulham have the lowest away win percentage of any side in Premier League history (14% – 38/263).

- Watford’s Andre Gray has scored in each of his last three league appearances against Fulham, netting four goals in total.
- Watford striker Andre Gray has scored in each of his last three home games in all competitions, coming off the bench to net the winning goal each time.
- Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic hasn’t scored in any of his last 14 away Premier League games. Despite this, he’s still the Cottagers’ joint-second highest league scorer away from home this term (2, behind Andre Schurrle with 3).
WOLVES V MANCHESTER UNITED
7.45pm This is a very interesting fixture – we had the same fixture very recently in the FA Cup when Wolves came out on top; however that FA Cup semi-final is on this weekend so will Wolves have one eye on that? There’s no doubt who has more to play for tonight – Manchester United really need to be winning games like this with the race for a Top Four finish so tight. While Wolves would love to finish 7th in the Premier League; surely the FA Cup semi-final is more important this weekend – they have an excellent chance to get to the final as they are favourites to beat Watford.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Wolves 4.1, Manchester United 2.08 and the draw is 3.55. If truth be told, Wolves could have done without this fixture as they prepare for a trip to Wembley at the weekend. United grinded out another win at the weekend at home to Watford however it wasn’t without trouble. They are a tempting bet at 2.08 however we expect goals here – Solskjaer will set up this United side to attack and Wolves have goals in them too. Over 2.5 goals is 2.1 and that looks good value.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Over 2.5 goals at 2.1.
