PREMIER LEAGUE TUESDAY: We preview Tuesday’s Premier League games between TOTTENHAM v BRIGHTON (7.45pm SKY) and WATFORD v SOUTHAMPTON (7.45pm) both with a recommended BETDAQ bet and extended stats.
TOTTENHAM V BRIGHTON
7.45pm We’re getting so close to the end of the season now and every game is massive! Spurs would have been absolutely delighted to see Manchester United and Arsenal both lose at the weekend after they lost away to Manchester City. The reality for Spurs is that they control their own destiny after United and Arsenal both lost, and they should see Champions League football next year regardless of whether or not they win the competition this season!
Spurs are heavy odds on favourites with the match odds at the time of writing currently trading; Tottenham 1.35, Brighton 12.0 and the draw is 5.6. Brighton have been woeful lately and it’s actually surprising to see Spurs as big as 1.35 – Brighton have failed to score in their last five Premier League games and they lost a huge clash with Cardiff this day last week. They would have been delighted with a 0-0 draw away to Wolves, but Wolves are finishing the season poorly. We can’t see past an easy win for Spurs here and we like them to cover the handicap; they’re trading 1.95 -1.5 goals and that looks great value.

- Brighton manager Chris Hughton has only won one of his seven Premier League games against Tottenham (D3 L3), a 1-0 win over Tim Sherwood’s Spurs side as Norwich boss in February 2014.
WATFORD V SOUTHAMPTON
7.45pm This should be a very good tie tonight with two sides finishing the season in good form. Watford have an FA Cup final to look forward to and while it’s possible that they make take an eye off the Premier League to focus on that – extra European spots will be available this season with City winning the domestic cups so there’s a lot to play for in the Premier League given their position in the table. Southampton have had some great results in recent weeks too; they even managed to beat Spurs – however the 3-1 loss to Newcastle came as a surprise and now they have lost three of their last four away.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Watford 2.28, Southampton 3.5 and the draw is 3.55. Watford’s games have been great viewing recently, however mainly because they have been scoring and conceding – they have conceded in their last eight straight Premier League games and with Southampton in good form, we can definitely see them scoring at some stage. Watford make appeal at 2.28 given Southampton’s away form and the home side have been playing some good football too; however we feel that over 2.5 goals jumps off the page here at 1.89. You would have collected in five of their last six Watford and Southampton games with over 2.5 goals and we feel more goals are coming tonight.
