TUESDAY PREMIER LEAGUE: One match in the Premier League on Tuesday. It’s Liverpool v Stoke at Anfield and after wins for Chelsea and Man City on Monday the pressure is on the hosts to keep within touching distance. We preview the match with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

5.15pm The Christmas football rolls on with Stoke visiting Liverpool on Tuesday evening. Many were questioning Jurgen Klopp’s tactics in December after a 4-3 loss to Bournemouth and a 2-2 draw with West Ham but they have bounced back nicely to win their last two while keeping clean sheets.
Meanwhile Stoke arrive into Anfield having drawn their last two against Southampton and Leicester – they probably would have been happy with a draw against those two side prior to kick off however they were 2-0 up against a 10 man Leicester side and would have been gutted to end 2-2. They have bounced back very well from a poor start in the league, and have now only lost twice in their last 12.
It is hard to see how Stoke can leave Anfield with a result though given the form that Liverpool have been in, especially at home – they are now unbeaten in their last 15 at home but with them trading at around 1.33 in the match odds market – we are going to look around for something a bit bigger in price to tip!
A lot with depend on how Stoke approach this game. If they sit back and play for a draw, then Liverpool will just go through them like they have to many teams with similar tactics this season. However, if Stoke attack them and put them under pressure, then you might see some errors at the back from Liverpool. Over all though, we can’t see Stoke not sitting back and inviting Liverpool onto them, and that should result in a routine Liverpool win – they trade 1.87 -1.5 goals on the Asian Handicap and we feel that is good value.
