WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS: We look ahead to Monday’s World Cup qualifiers between Serbia v Republic Of Ireland and Wales v Moldova.
Serbia v Republic Of Ireland
7.45pm Ireland start their 2018 World Cup campaign with a tough away game against Serbia. The match odds at the time of writing are currently; Serbia 2.04, Ireland 4.7 and the draw 3.3 – it seems a bit much to expected an Irish win, having won just twice in their last eight games, with one of them being against Oman, and it’s hard to know what to read into the win against Italy at Euro 2016, where Italy rested players ahead of the knock outs. Serbia are no great shakes themselves though, and lost to Estonia in March – they also failed to qualify for the World Cup in 2014 and Euro 2016, so in that sense 2.04 might be a shade short as this Ireland team are probably better suited to playing away. We feel that the best option here is the draw at 3.3 – under 2.5 goals is also another option, but looks a shade short at 1.6, and another bet that is worth taking into consideration is 0-0 at 8.0 or bigger.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Draw at 3.3.

Wales v Moldova
7.45pm Wales and Moldova have met twice before, in qualifying for Euro 1996, and Moldova actually beat them in one of those clashes! It shows how far Wales have come in relatively such a short period of time with how brilliant they were at Euro 2016, and they are fully expected to win here. At around 1.27 in the 90 minutes market, we want to look around for some better value and it’s probably a case of trying to call how many Wales will score rather than anything else. Over 2.5 goals is currently trading 2.2 and we expected Wales to be able to find the net a few times here.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Over 2.5 goals at 2.2.
