OLD FIRM SATURDAY PREVIEW: It’s back – Celtic v Rangers in the top flight kicking off at midday on Saturday. We are expecting plenty of goals – a feature of Celtic’s recent games.

12pm The Old Firm Derby is back – for the first time in four years Celtic and Rangers go head-to-head in the league in what should be a cracker! Both sides are unbeaten thus far this season in the league with Celtic a perfect three from three and Rangers with two wins and two draws.
You’d have to say that Celtic are the stronger side here heading into this, their team certainly seems to have more strength in depth added to the fact that they have a few players who will have experienced an Old Firm Derby in the past – you can expect Rangers to up their game significantly here though and with that Celtic are just too short to back for us at around the 1.63 mark.
This game screams goals to us and we’re happy to back over 2.5 goals at around the 1.75 mark. Celtic’s recent games have been packed with goals, and while they have been banging in goals for fun – as you would expect given the opposition – you’d have to be concerned about the amount of times they have conceded though. They’ve conceded nine goals in their last five games, and while Rangers haven’t quite conceded as many – they too have also conceded in four of their last five. We feel that both teams can score here but prefer over 2.5 goals at 1.75 compared to BTTS at 1.8.
