DOWN ROYAL NAP: SHAMROCK’s NAP on Friday runs in the opener at Down Royal at 4.35pm.
Disappointing effort from the NAP Creggs Pipes last night, especially given market leader and main danger Now Or Never was a non runner and she looked just a penalty kick but was readily brushed aside by Dermot Weld’s Tanaza.
My other selection Monsieur Joe was a non runner.
Down Royal stage a jumps card tonight starting at 4.35pm.
There are very few standout bets on the card. I’m taking a chance with Dodgybingo being good enough to win the opener.
The Noel Meade trained runner made a pleasing start to his jumping career when a close up fourth at Roscommon and with normal improvement will take a lot of beating here.
Confidence is obviously tempered by the fact that there are several interesting debutants but Dodgybingo sets the bar at a reasonable level.
