THREE NAPS IN A ROW: SHAMROCK landed his THIRD WINNING NAP IN A ROW yesterday with CASTLETOWN BRIDGE (NAP) WON 3/1 following on from a 6/4 winning nap on Wednesday and a 5/4 winner on Tuesday. The prices are getting better!

I am glad there was no Irish racing over the last two days !!

It gave me chance to go to Perth and follow Gordon Elliott. After Formal Bid landed the nap on Wednesday I napped another Elliott trained runner yesterday, Castletown Bridge who won the opener at 3/1.

So it’s three naps in a row:

Tuesday: NOBLE INN (NAP) WON 5/4
Wednesday: FORMAL BID (NAP) WON 6/4
Thursday: CASTLETOWN BRIDGE (NAP) WON 3/1

And there’s only been one selection each day – the nap – so it’s three from three.

We return to Ireland today, or rather tonight, for all-weather action from Dundalk.

The 6.20 maiden looks a match on paper between He’s No Saint and Atlantic Sea both of whom have placed form here.

I was leaning towards He’s No Saint anyway for David Marnane and he has fared much better in the draw department (stall 3) versus stall 10 for Atlantic Sea over a trip where low numbers have a distinct edge.

SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: He’s No Saint (6.20 Dundalk)
