REMEMBER THE 7.30 AT DUNDALK: SHAMROCK’s NAP on Friday runs in the 7.30 at Dundalk – a competitive seven furlong race despite there just being four runners.
Just four runners head to post for the 7.30 at Dundalk tonight but it looks competitive with three of the four last time out winners.
I favour Remember The Days who made a winning debut here last month despite being a 14/1 chance for trainer Joseph O’Brien.
He stayed on really well that night and should also be suited by the furlong less trip.
The other unbeaten runner is Tuff Love who has already won over course and distance. The second and third from that race have run again since and not set the world alight suggesting the form is only average at best.
He could be ahead though (on jockey bookings) of stable companion Rock In Peace who brings by far the most experience to the table having had 11 starts and he is on for a hat-trick after wins here over 7f and a mile last time. However Colin Keane is onboard Tuff Love.
The field is completed by Visionary whose wins have come over the minimum trip and might find this on the marathon side.
The prices of the four range from 3.3 to 5.5 on BETDAQ – they could all well be co-favourites come off time !
