DUNDALK FRIDAY NAP: SHAMROCK’S NAP on Friday runs at Dundalk.
Another second from the NAP yesterday with Our Roxane at 9/4.
In the 8.15 at Dundalk tonight Plum Perfect is taken to go one better than she did over course and distance last time out when runner-up to Annie B.
It was a fair enough effort, finishing second to a Joseph O’Brien trained favourite and she had the third horse a further four and a half lengths back.
This doesn’t look the strongest maiden ever run at the track and there are negative pointers around her closest market rivals.
Karakhan is unproven on the all-weather and has been a beaten favourite in his last two starts, whilst Kellmar’s debut third here came in an apprentice race won by a 20/1 shot – although he should be suited by the step up in trip.
Dropping back in trip is Super Schemer who was dramatically stepped up from 7f to 1m 4f last time out on just his third start.
