OSCAR TO TANGO: An Aidan O’Brien trained handicap debutant catches the eye of SHAMROCK at Dundalk tonight.
It looks a tricky card for punters at Dundalk tonight but Oscar Dominguez looks an interesting handicap debutant for Aidan O’Brien in the Happy Christmas To All Our Patrons Nursery Handicap over one mile at 6pm.
The two-year-old has had all three of his starts so far at Dundalk and finished in mid-field in each of them. An opening handicap mark of 70 doesn’t look unfair and he certainly appeals more than stable companion Ineffable who has been allotted 67 on his handicap debut.
Biggest danger is likely to come from Set To Fire who carries top weight of 10st 1lb. She has a couple of good placed efforts on turf to her name but is untried on the all-weather surface.
