They race at Fairyhouse on Monday and for the NAP I’m going with The West’s Awake in the 2.25pm.
He did well in finishing second to Derulo at Down Royal in a big field where the field was well strung out and can go close here after a break of 189 days.
Sutton Manor has a longer absence to overcome but is the obvious danger. He was a well beaten 22 length second on his rules debut at Thurles (heavy ground bumper) when sent off an odds-on favourite. He has since joined Gordon Elliott from Willie Mullins but is a hard to assess particularly given the contrasting ground this afternoon.
The absence, lack of jumps experience and as yet unproven on the ground all sway me towards The West’s Awake at better prices on BETDAQ.
