FABULOUS START TO THE WEEK: SHAMROCK starts the week with a nap on tonight’s Ballinrobe card.
Ballinrobe stage a jumps card tonight and my best bet has to be Fabulous Saga in the maiden hurdle at 7.30pm.
The Willie Mullins trained runner has already got a string of good bumper runs to his name including a win at Tipperary and looks set to make a winning debut over hurdles over this extended trip.
He was beaten by a 50/1 chance when odds-on at Listowel over 2m 4f but didn’t seem to have problems with the trip that day.
He’s a keen running sort and it would come as no surprise to see Ruby Walsh try and make all.
Masterson has recently joined Gordon Elliott from Mick Channon. He didn’t seem over enthusiastic about the jumping game previously but this is a soft Irish introduction and he should be up for a place.
