GOLDEN NAP AT KILBEGGAN: A final race nap for SHAMROCK on Monday with his best bet of the day running in the bumper at 9.00.
Only one horse stands out for me at Kilbeggan tonight and that’s Golden Poet in the bumper at 9.00.
He got no further than the first flight on his hurdling debut here in April when he fell but proved that he has ability when third in a bumper at Sligo last time out behind Belle Helene.
That was a good run from the Andrew McNamara trained runner who proved his confidence wasn’t impaired by the earlier fall.
He is currently trading just north of evens on BETDAQ which I think is fair value in a race where it is hard to see too many dangers.
Celma Des Bois was a fair third at Ballinrobe and is preferred to Bensachuine who may be flattered by his third here last time out.
