MONDAY NAP: SHAMROCK heads to Kilbeggan for his NAP on Monday.
A short price but nice to land the NAP yesterday with a super impressive display from Magical 2/5 in the Pretty Polly Stakes.
They race at Limerick and Kilbeggan on Monday and for the NAP I’m off jumping to Kilbeggan.
Enjoy D’allen looks a worthy favourite for the two and a half mile maiden hurdle at 5.10pm. The Peter Fahey trained runner was an eight length winner of a Point last year but so far has yet to progress over hurdles.
That said, he ran his best race yet when fourth in a handicap hurdle at Naas and a reproduction of that form should prove good enough to win this modest event.
The danger, as the market suggests, is likely to come from the Henry de Bromhead trained Somptueux – although this one was hugely disappointing when a beaten favourite at Punchestown in February.
