KILLARNEY MONDAY NAP: SHAMROCK heads to Killarney on Monday for the first race on their card at at 5.25pm.
Snapraeterea is taken to follow up on his debut win at Bellewstown by taking this tougher looking event which opens Killarney’s Monday card at 5.25pm.
He was very green on debut earlier this month and was probably value for a lot more than the half length he beat No Patience by. He gave distance away at the start and even jumped the path inside the final furlong but was still good enough to win.
Trained by Joseph O’Brien, Snapraeterea was also set to take on stablemate Camdeboo but that one is now a non runner along with the original favourite Oodnadatta.
Main danger is now likely to come from another first time out winner No Stopping Her who lived up to her name at Roscommon. Despite going off at 28/1, there didn’t appear to bet any fluke about that win and she can only improve further.
