The nine-year-old finished third to Coneygree and Djakadam in the Gold Cup last year but such is the embarrassment of riches than owners Gigginstown have in the Gold Cup it’s a strong possibility that Road To Riches could be sent over the shorter trip of the Ryanair.
Meade told the Mirror: “I would hope he goes for the Gold Cup, but we’re going to have to see what way they call it.”
