COSMIC AT ROSCOMMON: SHAMROCK looks ahead to the card at Roscommon on Monday with his best bet running in the opener at 4.05pm.
The Joseph O’Brien trained Cosmic Horizon looks the answer to the opener on the Roscommon card.
After a debut fifth at Bellewstown, he went on to finish runner-up at Galway last time out to the favourite Zuenoon who followed up with another win subsequently at Killarney.
With further improvement he should take a lot of stopping in a race that might not take much winning.
Copia Verborum and Invasion Day (closely matched last time out) both have more experience than the selection and the biggest danger might be Copia Verborum who was third to Anthony Van Dyck in a Group 3 at Leopardstown last time out – although that form probably flatters him. He set a blistering pace that day and in the end was six lengths adrift of the impressive winnerm with Invasion Day a further half a length behind in fourth.
