JUST ANOTHER PLEASANT SUNDAY: SHAMROCK landed his NAP (and only bet) on Sunday with PLEASANT BAY who won at an SP of 11/10 but much better on BETDAQ when first advised.
Pleasant Bay may have won the race at the start yesterday at Dundalk. Chief market rival Sniper completely blew the start and from that point on Pleasant Bay was trading odds-on on BETDAQ. He just had half a length in hand at the line but it was a welcome winning nap.
There’s a mixed card to look forward to tonight at Roscommon and the best bet on the card may come in the maiden hurdle at 7.10.
I’m putting one up at a price today – around 8 on BETDAQ at the time of writing.
I didn’t think that Sharjah fared too badly on his hurdling debut over course and distance earlier in the month despite being a beaten favourite.
He met with trouble in running early in the race and stayed on into fourth. Twice a winner on the flat, he shouldn’t need to improve too much to run into a place here.
We’ll take a little insurance out by also covering him in the BETDAQ place market.
