KILBEGGAN: Stage the Irish action exclusively today with a seven race card getting underway at 4.40.

Another tough card on Friday and it might pay to wait until the final race at Kilbeggan for Wrong Way Corrigan in the bumper at 7.40.

The six-year-old went close at Cork last time out when finishing second to Vintage Supreme in a big field and his overall profile would suggest he has the ability to take this.

The Buddy Pass is one of the bigger dangers. He was a creditable second over course and distance on his debut and was carried wide in the closing stages of the race. The third placed horse however has been well beaten since at Downpatrick, suggesting the form is nothing special.

Not sure there are any other bets on the card for me but what a weekend to look forward to at Leopardstown (Saturday) and the Curragh (Sunday) starting with the Red Mills Irish Champion Stakes on Saturday.
