NAP WON 11/8 and NEXT BEST WON 11/8. For the second day running SHAMROCK gave two winners out of two at Bellewstown. His Sunday NAP Lord Jim won at 11/8 and NEXT BEST Discoteca won at the same price !!!
There’s a Listed race on the card at Roscommon tonight – the Lenebane Stakes at 8.30. We are looking at ground that is soft, heavy in places and it’s a competitive heat.
The Aga Khan owns three of the 10 runners and the pick maybe Massiyn who is on for the hat-trick after a handicap success at the Curragh last time out. He relished the soft ground and looks capable of further improvement but Offer from the Aidan O’Brien yard might be the one for tonight.
He drops back in trip after a creditable effort in the Group 3 Curragh Cup last time out when third to Hartani and the current BETDAQ odds of around 8.0 look very generous indeed. I also recommend a wager on the place market.
The naps are back in form and I’m taking on Aidan O’Brien with tonight’s nap. He runs Count Of Limonade in the opener at 6.00 but I prefer the chances of Daymooma who shaped well when third on her Curragh debut.
