BALLINROBE and FAIRYHOUSE: Start the Irish racing week. Shamrock’s best bet comes in the 5.05 at Fairyhouse.
A busy start to the racing week and the best bet on Monday could come at Fairyhouse in the 5.05. Three Sea Captains got off the mark in Listed company last time out at the Curragh beating Boston Rocker by a neck.
The question mark is the distance. His Curragh win came over five furlongs and today’s race is over seven. However, judging on the way he was staying on over six furlongs in his previous starts I’m not expecting any problems on this front. 2.4 on BETDAQ looks about right.
The opening two maidens are big on numbers and in the 4.05 Regal Power should have enough experience now to be able to finally lose his maiden tag.
