DUNDALK: Stage an eight race card on the Polytrack today and SHAMROCK has found a nap in the seven furlong maiden at 3.45.
Mouteab has finished second in all three of his starts, all over today’s 7f trip, but has performed with credit each time and the switch to the all-weather circuit may bring about a deserved first win.
He chased home debutant Mooqtar in a big field at Leopardstown last time out and that form very much sets the standard here. Second favourite on BETDAQ is Mordanmijobsworth who was seventh here on debut before going on to finish third, 3/4 length behind Mouteab, in the Leopardstown race. They are clearly closely matched on that running but I’m giving Mouteab a final chance.
The 3.15 at Dundalk brings together some fillies with great potential including Bracing Breeze who showed a lot of promise on debut when a close third to What Style at Leopardstown.
