SIX WINNERS FROM LAST SIX TIPS !!!! He did it again TWO out of TWO for the THIRD day running for SHAMROCK. DAWN APPROACH (NAP, WON 4/9) and SKY LANTERN (NEXT BEST, WON 11/8) made it SIX WINNERS from SIX TIPS since Saturday.
The run of winners this week continued yesterday at Naas and both Dawn Approach and Sky Lantern look juveniles with big futures.
I’m aiming for the fourth nap on the spin today – my recent naps ‘form figures’ have been 110111202210111 and aiming today for a FOURTH winning double in a row – no pressure then !
Westhaven is today’s nap at Downpatrick. Noel Meade’s runner was twice a winner on the flat when trained in England by David Elsworth and although no match for White Feathers at Kilbeggan last time out, he had the rest of the field well strung out and the winner has gone on to win again since. The only question mark is around the distance but he did stay on well at Kilbeggan over 2m 3f two starts ago.
Ironmill Lad wasn’t beaten too far on his seasonal reppaerance and dropping back in distance should go close in the 5.40.
