TOP MAN SHAMROCK: Top Man Michael, Shamrock’s NAP on Tuesday obliged in the opener at Roscommon at even money.
The ground remains testing at Sligo and they race on soft to heavy ground for tonight’s meeting.
Strapless surely deserves a first success in the opening maiden at 5.35. The Jim Bolger trained filly has been placed in all five of her starts over distances varying from 5f to a mile and she finished a course and distance third on her second start here. She hasn’t been doing a lot wrong and this could well be her night as the opposition doesn’t look too hot and she is selected to again finish in front of Cut Me Loose (neck between them at Down Royal).
Around 3.1 on BETDAQ at the time of writing, Strapless is my nap of the day.
Jim Bolger should also go close in the 7.40 with An Spailpin Fanach who is against rivals who mainly need a lot further in distance to show their best form.
