BELLEWSTOWN NAP: Shamrock finds an angle at York but heads to Bellewstown for the best bet on Wednesday.
Aidan O’Brien is triple handed in the Juddmonte International Stakes at York this afternoon but the reality must be a win number 13 for the sensational Frankel. The only real question mark is not so much the opposition but Frankel himself and his ability to see out 10 furlongs but all known evidence suggests that won’t be a problem.
If you like skinny prices then 1.33 St Nicholas Abbey to be placed looks much better than backing Frankel to win at 1.12. St Nicholas Abbey has proven ability over this trip and longer and in the ‘without Frankel’ market on BETDAQ he is just a shade over evens.
Back at Bellewstown Caliente looks very much the one to be on in the claiming maiden race at 5.10.
She has shown promise in all three of her starts to date and is stepped back in trip tonight after failing to get home over 1m 4f at Galway last time out. Jpevie and The Ring In King have both had plenty of chances and look thoroughly exposed.
Blackstairmountain will go off long odds on in the finale but is impossible to oppose.
