IRISH RACING RESUMES AT LIMERICK: There’s a six card meeting getting underway at 12.50pm this afternoon on testing ground.
Sarabad was a beaten favourite at Downpatrick last time out having attempted to make all the running but was headed after the last and beaten comprehensively by Sizing Jo’Burg.
It wasn’t a bad effort (the pair finished 28 lengths clear) and the drop back in distance today should help Sarabad gain a first success.
Ciarans Oscar was a good second at Wexford last time, but that came on good ground and the serious rivals to Sarabad look thin on the ground today.
Willie Mullins may well complete a quick double through Tempo Du Camp in the second race at 1.20. He has been off the course since 2010 but looked a nice prospect then and lengthy absences aren’t usually a problem for the yard.
SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Sarabad (12.50 Limerick)
