CORK ON SATURDAY: SHAMROCK looks ahead to the maiden hurdle on the Cork card at 1.25pm.
Testing ground at Cork on Saturday with a seven race card underway at 12.20pm.
Best bet on the card for me comes in the maiden hurdle at 1.25pm.
Clinton Hill looks solid here for Willie Mullins and Paul Townend. The eight-year-old coped well with give in the ground on all three of his bumpers starts last season and looks the sort to do well over hurdles.
He was only beaten narrowly on his final start of last season behind Kelp Forest in what looked an above average event – the fourth came out to win next time out.
This looks a reasonable event and main danger could come from the Gordon Elliott trained Invincible Cave who already has experience over hurdles.
