10 OUT OF 10 FOR NAP: SHAMROCK NAPS at Cork today in the 1.25pm.
Hopefully it will be a 10/10 performance from Escaria Ten in the three mile maiden hurdle at Cork this afternoon.
The Gordon Elliott trained runner looked every inch a stayer on his hurdling debut over 2m 4f at Fairyhouse where he finished a running on third. The form of that race has worked out well with the runner-up Monkish winning well next time out.
The step up in trip should help and he is preferred to the Willie Mullins trained Golden Spread who doesn’t have the benefit of a recent start and makes his hurdling debut here. He had some useful bumper form and looks the stable number one with Paul Townend preferring him over Punchestown runner-up Minella Encore.
